Tucker James Ferguson

April 27Th 2009 6lbs 11oz, 19inches long

The happy parents after 11hours of labor and over an hour of pushing. Darcy went into labor at 3:00pm Sunday afternoon. She didn't think she was in labor, her back was killing her and she thought she was constipated. My mom finally told her to go get checked. When she got to the hospital she was having a contraction every minute. The nurse accused her of taking some kind of herb that makes you go into labor. She asked Darcy three times if she had taken this herb. Of coarse Darcy hadn't we didn't even know what the nurse was talking about. rewind to earlier that day... Darcy told me she thought her water had broke. I have had my water break with both my kids so I asked her what made her think that. She told me she needed to pee and was sitting there trying to and she felt a gush. She did not know if she finally peed or if her water broke. Now With Bailey my water broke and it was just like the movies water everywhere. With Kinley my water broke and it was a continuous trickle I changed my pants put on a maxi pad and went to the hospital while I was walking in water was trickling down my leg... When I walked in at 11:00pm the security guard saw me walking like I wet myself and didn't even make me check in.... Hes like "just go!" So anyway I told Darcy I didn't think her water broke because she had a little gush like how much you would normally pee and she didn't have anymore. I was wrong I am a bad sister I am so glad she started having contractions 3hours later. I guess the baby dropped down and clogged up her leak so that's why there was no gush nor continuous trickling. So anyway back to how Tucker boy was born. I had family dinner that night and my mom called me at 5:30 she told me Darcy had gone into labor so I said cianara to my family and went to the hospital. My mom then left to Darcy's house in Orem to get her camera. They had all ready given her the epidural when I arrived so they started to put the catheter in. While they were doing that the babies heart rate when way down and Darcy's blood pressure sky rocketed she then started shivering so bad. I was freaking out on the inside because my mom wasn't with us and I didn't want anything to go wrong. After turning Darcy to the side and turning down the drip all was fine. Darcy pushed for a long time and at one point my mom asked me to take a turn holding her leg so I went over there grabbed her leg and instantly got really nauseous. I started to get light headed and thought I was going to puke! I made my mom take back over and went back to my happy little corner to observe from afar! I could never be a crotch doctor I'll tell you that much. I am not scared of blood, guts, bones, poop (after all I am a mother) Puke, or anything that involves the human body, but crotches make me sick to my stomach! When they pulled Tucker out, He was blue and it was scary for a minute. Seconds seemed like minutes, while they were trying to get him to cry. He finally pinked up and I was so relieved. It was so amazing in the end to be there and experience birth from a different angle.

here is me holding Tucker at 2:30 in the morning after being up all day and all night so exhausted but worth it! I love my new nephew!

Easter Fun

I tried to get a descent picture of my kids in their pretty Easter dresses this year but failed. I took this one outside right before church. Bailey was mad at me because her dress didn't have sleeves. (do they teach them that at church this young? Maybe she thought she was going to get made fun of?) Kinley on the other hand was very happy at this point in the day.
I tried again at church for a cute picture, Now Bailey is happy and Kinley is not!

After church Our home teacher stopped by with his kids. He brought their Easter chicks, they were so cute. This is a picture of one of their cute kids. Kinley and her don't get along......yet, her name is Hope and I am partial to her. I think its because she reminds me of Bailey as a baby. She looks alot like Bailey. She has thinned out a ton since she started walking, but she used to look really chunky like Bailey. Anyway I swear she is filled with air. I was holding them both in nursery because they both wanted me (I am the funnest teacher you know!) and I swear Kinley has to weigh the same if not more than her.

I gave Kinley a boiled egg and stickers. I thought she could join in on the Easter-egg coloring fun! She sure didn't put stickers on her egg. she cracked it and was eating it, shells and all! So I decided to just peel one for her and let her eat while we colored eggs.

Easter morning, The kids found their baskets, Bailey was surprised to find out the Easter bunny left us a special treat this year! He hopped up on the table to eat some carrots we left him, and when he hopped off, he accidentally pooped on our floor! Can you believe that? Kinley found her basket and went straight for the candy of coarse. She can open anything when she is determined enough!

This is my nieces and nephews. The three oldest Makaylan, Dakota (twins) and Shae. On the couch we have my two stinks, and then Oakley, Tristan, Kaitlin, And Braxton. We all got together for Easter dinner and a Easter egg hunt. It was really fun! I love watching these kids play together, even the older ones chase them around. I am so thankful for my big family, and I am so happy we are as close as we are. (Sometimes being close is hard) but I wouldn't change it for the world. Bailey is her happiest when we are together!
I know most everyone takes a look at their blessings on thanksgiving and Christmas. But this year I thought the most about my blessings on Easter. I have two amazing daughters, a hard working hubby, I grew up in Utah knowing the church, I feel safe in my neighbor hood, I trust my neighbors, I have the greatest mom and mother in law, who both teach me different things I need to know. I love my job! I love working part time it gives me time to associate with adults, and just enough time to miss my kids, so when I get home I am excited to play with them! I could really go on and on because I am in a thankful mood but I'll save it for later. Tomorrow my sister in law Stacey is getting married in the Mt Timp Temple ,and I am so blessed (there I go again!) to get to witness it. So I'll blog about her wedding soon!

Kids say the Darndest things

Ok so I wanted to jot a few things down about Bailey Before I forgot them. I try and give my kids confidence I am sure most every parent does. I tell Bailey all the time that she is so beautiful just like a princess you know it goes on and on. Well the other day we are sitting at the table and Bailey says "Mom, am I the cutest daughter you ever had?" I reply, "You are my very cutest four year old daughter (I can't hurt Kinley's feelings because she is my very cutest one year old.)" Then Bailey says "ya I know I am the cutest out of everyone mom, I am even cuter then God!" I have no Idea where she got that from I am sure because Heavenly father is spoken greatly of that she just was trying to think of the greatest thing and then top that. It was really funny! Ok this one is not for the little ones. Bailey came home from daycare one day and I was giving her a bath she looked down at her pee pee and told me, "Marleys mommy has a pee pee and Marley told me it looks like a lion." I am sorry if that offends anyone but I am sure all you parents have heard things out of your kids mouth that you never thought they would ever say! and I have to admit I was laughing!

RSV

Kinley was diagnosed with RSV today! I have never dealt with this before and it really scares me. What makes me mad is I took her to the Doctor Monday, He told me she had a cold. I called Tuesday to the nurse she told me she just has the cold. Today I demanded she be seen again because all she does is cry and cough. Then my husband and mom took her in because I was working the doctor checked her oxygen levels said they are fine. My mom had to demand he take a closer look at her lungs. I can’t believe how stupid doctors think we are I had the same thing happen with Bailey when she was just two I said I think she has strep the doctor told me no her tonsils look good and it’s rare for children under two. I said I know this and she just turned two test her please! He was so annoyed till the test came back positive. I know my Kids; I know when something is wrong! Sorry I am venting, I am just nervous my mom’s friend had her daughter who is the same age as Kinley hospitalized a few weeks ago with RSV and I am scared. She was fine in Disneyland, no cough or cold till two days before we came home she got a little cough with a slightly runny nose. Now its RSV by Wednesday!

Our Vacation

Our Vacation was really fun and it went by way to fast! we enjoyed four days at Disneyland, one at Universal Studios and one at Knotts Berry Farm. Knotts Berry Farm is my new favorite theme park It has a ton of rides for little kids and adults and there was no lines.

Bailey was big enough to ride most the rides her favorite space mountain, thunder mountain, and splash mountain Bailey also loves pirates of the Caribbean and dumbo and the haunted house. She is my kind of girl a dare devil and loves everything!

Kinley Loved Toon Town! Everything was just her size. This is her when she is saying "Cheese"
